Just wrapped up some great Economic Development project discussions with a couple businesses that would bring in $10s of millions of dollars of investments and over 100 new good paying jobs. We can maintain our small town feel with responsible growth that pays for itself. We have proven we can manage growth while maintaining Community safety as our City safety rating keeps increasing as we have grown these last few years, currently rated 6th Safest City in Minnesota. One of our top goals is to provide good paying job opportunities in Isanti. We need to finish growing into areas that have city infrastructure to keep lowering city taxes and water/sewer fees. If growth were stopped then residents would be subsidizing these areas forever. We also need sustainable growth to attract more restaurants, retail and other needed services. Amenities are also paid for through well managed growth. Our plan is working so let’s keep moving Isanti Forward.
